Optional Events

Here is an overview of the Optional Events that are available.  Optional Event entries must be purchased during registration, either online or on site.

Best 3 of 6 | $20

  • 100% Payout (1:6)
  • Handicap event.
  • Standings will be based on your three (3) highest scored games plus handicap out of six (6) from Saturday’s bowling. (Doubles and Team Events only.)
  • There are no tiebreakers.

Strike Pot | $10 

  • The name of one entrant will be drawn randomly during the 2nd game of Doubles & Team for each shift.
  • If the selected participant bowls a STRIKE in their next frame bowled, he/she will receive the total amount of prize money allocated to that event.
  • If a strike is not bowled, he/she will receive 25% of the allocated prize money, and the remaining prize money will be rolled into the prize fund for the remaining events.
  • If the remaining prize money is not won during the second shifts Team event, the balance of the prize money will be distributed evenly among two bowlers whose names will be drawn randomly at the Awards Banquet from the remaining Strike Pot participants.  In this scenario you must be present at the banquet to win.

Scratch Masters

Division A – 200+ | $50
Division B – 185-199 | $50
Division C – 170-184 | $50
Division D – 155-169 | $50
Division E – 154 and below | $50

Dark Horse Doubles | $5

  • 100% Payout (1:8)
  • Each entrant can enter a maximum of 20 entries.
  • Your handicap set bowled in the doubles event will be combined with your randomly drawn partner’s handicap set to come up with your composite Dark Horse Doubles score.
  • You can not be paired with yourself in Dark Horse Doubles.
  • Doubles pairs will be ranked from highest to lowest.
  • Only the paid entrant will qualify for winnings on that entry.
  • Winners will be announced at the banquet as time permits.

Seniors (55+) All Events Tournament | $10

  • 100% Payout (1:8)
  • One Division for all bowlers in the event.
  • Must be 55 years old as of Sunday Feb 14th, 2027 and be able to show proof of DOB being on or before 2/14/72.
  • The composite handicap all events score will be determined by adding handicap results from all three events, nine games, bowled in this tournament: doubles, team, and singles.
  • Bowlers will be ranked from highest to lowest handicap totals and prize money will be awarded accordingly.
  • Winners will be announced at the banquet as time permits.
